A Letter to Arlen Specter

February 18, 2009

The Honorable Arlen Specter
SH-711 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510-3802

Dear Senator Specter:

I have long been distressed at your penchant for selling out the Republican Party, while still clinging to the benefits of holding that association. If you would simply proclaim your true Democrat colors I would have more respect for you as both a Senator and as a human being.

Which brings me to the purpose of this letter. Your actions in voting for the stimulus bill are the most despicable in your long career. Not only have you once again sold out your fellow Republicans, you have sold out your country as well. This bill does nothing to stimulate the economy, and instead has everything to do with paying off loyal Democrats and buying votes for that party well into the future.

Please know, sir, that I will make it a special point to pray for your health and wellbeing each and every night. I want you to survive your battle with cancer so that you will not only know how thoroughly you have helped to destroy this country, but so that you may also know the humiliation of being defeated in your inevitable re-election bid in 2010. I already have $100.00 earmarked for the campaign of any true Republican who runs against you at that time.

Sincerely,

Jacob D. Vreeland, Jr.
Reagan Republican
Faithful American
